Along with your application form please include proof of a 250€ deposit (non-refundable but deductible from total program cost). Deposit for groups is 20% of the program cost.

PAYMENT: When we receive your application form and proof of deposit we will send you confirmation of acceptance for enrollment along with other documents, including the invoice for the course and housing you have selected. We cannot send any documentation until the initial course deposit has been made. The total invoice for the program must be paid by bank transfer or credit card no later than three weeks before program start date.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENROLLMENT (Adult courses)

Course selection and housing are subject to availability. Global Link reserves the right to cancel or change a course if it is obliged to do so by circumstances beyond the company's control. In these cases Global Link will try to offer the student an alternative or will reimburse the deposit.

  • All programs must be paid in full at least 3 weeks before student's arrival date.
  • Fifteen percent of the total cost of the program will be deducted from all refunds.
  • Students who wish to cancel their program, or their classes and/or housing before their arrival, must notify Global Link in writing by e-mail, letter or telegram.
  • Once the program has started there will be no refunds whatsoever.
  • Global Link Launguages Is not responsible for cancellations due to natural disasters, sickness or personal problems.
  • If a student cancels a program after the necessary visa has been obtained, 35% of the total program cost will be deducted from the refund.

Summer Camp Cancellations:

  • There will be no refunds once the camp program has begun or the student has arrived in Spain.
  • 20% of the total program cost will be deducted from the refund for cancellations made 4 weeks before arrival in Spain.
  • 50% of the total program cost will be deducted from refund for cancellations made 2 weeks before arrival in Spain..

Visas for Spain:

  • Citizens of the European Union do not need a visa to enter Spain.
  • Students from other countries must contact the Spanish Embassy or Consulate in their country to obtain more information. Global Link Idiomas will provide students with the documentation necessary for obtaining a visa: an Invitation Letter, an official state form that facilitates the visa process, a copy of your program confirmation as well as the program invoice. Global Link Idiomas cannot be held responsible for the denial of any visa.
  • If the student needs originals of the documents stated above, Global Link will express mail them via Fed Ex for a charge of 100€.
  • In the case that a visa is denied, 100€ for the Invitation Letter, 250€ for the initial deposit and any other cost will be deducted from the course refund, in addition, an extra 10 percent of the total program cost will be deducted from the refund as a surcharge. In order to receive a refund of any kind, the student must provide Global Link with the original document denying the visa. If Global Link Idiomas does not receive the original document, the student will be charged for the entire cost of the program.

Medical Insurance:

Global Link Launguages recommends and can arrange for private medical insurance to cover their students in the case of illness, accident, or theft while in Spain.

Important: By signing the application form, the student accepts all the conditions described here within. If for reasons beyond Global Link ´s control, the price of accommodation were to increase, Global Link would notify the student.

CANCELLATION OR CHANGES IN OR AFTER THE DATE OF ARRIVAL

Accommodation:

All accommodation fees are paid directly to Global Link Idiomas and prices are listed by person per week unless otherwise indicated. Accommodation runs from the Sunday before the course start date until 10 am on Saturday after the course end date, unless agreed otherwise.

  • Global Link Idiomas cannot guarantee the type of accommodation requested for bookings received one week before course start date because earlier bookings receive preference.
  • If a student is not satisfied with his/her accommodation he/she should notify the school during the first week of the program so a change can be made if justified and necessary.
  • If a student decides to postpone a course or take a break without a justified cause, no refunds will be made.

Airport- Transfer:

  • At least one week before the student's arrival, Global Link will need written confirmation of all of the student's flight information for arrival and departure (city of arrival/departure, dates, flight numbers, times of arrival/departure etc.) To the contrary, Global Link cannot be held responsible for the student's transfer and no refund will be made.
  • In the case of delays or flight changes that have not been communicated previously, Global Link can not be held responsible for the student's airport transfer.
  • If a student cancels an airport transfer less than one week before arrival, no refund will be made.
